Description

The Junior Integration & Support Technician is in charge of supplying support to our customers and internal teams, whether functional or technical. Therefore, they should have a global and up-to-date view of our product catalog, our information systems as well and our organization. The incumbent will install and configure our products, handle support requests, monitor infrastructure availability, take corrective actions and suggest improvements and solutions.

Responsibility

Integration

  • Install and configure our products, either in the customer environment (based in Europe, mainly in France) or in our production environment
  • Provide full installation reports
  • Provide documentation when required

Support

  • Our products
  • Tickets — provide level 1 support: analysis, diagnostics, resolution, communication with the customer
  • Update tickets in real-time to track every action taken
  • Escalate tickets to relevant entities or to level 2 support
  • Maintain our production servers online and operational

Internal IT

  • Provide support for internal IT: servers, workstations, laptops, printers, scanners, …
  • Anti-virus: ensure it is up to date and active on all workstations
  • Assist with and provide support/troubleshooting for local server hardware
  • Handle the configuration of new hardware for staff use
  • Update the hardware resources inventory for each change in some hardware: assignment, reassignment, repair, not working anymore, …
  • Provide support to the local area network and the internet connection
  • Maintain up-to-date operational documentation

Required qualifications

  • High sense of responsibility
  • Technical background
  • Must enjoy solving a wide variety of problems on a continual basis
  • Technical and intellectual curiosity
  • Basic knowledge of SQL and Database Administration
  • Knowledge of the technical English language is a must.
  • Server administration – Windows and CentOS
  • Knowledge of Tomcat and Java is a plus
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
